You guys, I don’t even know how it is that I haven’t already covered this life news.
Fashionably late: I got a new job.
The newspaper I’ve been working for since 2007, doing production-y type things and herding bloggers and half-heartedly poking around in web analytics, hired me to pull on my shoes and go outside and find some shit out. I am thrilled. Reporting is one of those all-encompassing crafts that just absorbs every drop of energy you can put into it. My subject matter isn’t the most accessible (I write for and about lawyers), but I’m making it my current life’s mission to rise to the challenge.
